Mind your manners on the road south.

Drive from Douglas to Castletown. Hop between lanes to miss the sheep, potholes, puddles and the slow tractor, and when you cross a Fairy Bridge, remember to say hello!

Press Start, then steer between the lanes and watch for the Fairy Bridge sign.

Tap left or right of your car, or swipe, to change lane. Tap your car or the Hello button on a Fairy Bridge.

How to play

Steer kindly, greet sweetly.

  1. Change lane. Press the left and right arrow keys (or A and D) once per lane. On a phone, tap to the left or right of your car, swipe, or use the arrow buttons.
  2. Miss the bumps. A pothole, a startled sheep or the back of the tractor costs a tyre. Puddles only splash you, but they cost a few points.
  3. Watch for the sign. A white “Fairy Bridge” sign comes before each one, and its walls are strung with fairy lights. The little people are everywhere, so there is more than one on this road.
  4. Say hello on the bridge. Press Space, the Hello button or tap your car while you cross. A blessing earns 150 points and a short sparkle shield. Forget, and the fairies let the air out of a tyre (in Gentle they just splash your windscreen).
  5. Plain grey bridges need no greeting. A hello there is harmless, but it scores nothing.
  6. Reach Castletown. You score for the distance you drive, each blessing, and 100 points for every good tyre at the end.

Your car greets the fairies in English and in Manx: Moghrey mie (said MORR-a MY) means good morning, and from midday it says Fastyr mie (FASS-ter MY), good afternoon or evening.

P or Escape pauses, and so does switching tab or scrolling away. Best scores stay on this device only, kept separately for each difficulty. Free to play: no account and no adverts.
