Twenty stitches · one dash

Sew the breeches before the Buggane rises.

Timothy the tailor has bet he can sew a pair of breeches in St Trinian’s Church in one night. Help him finish before the Buggane rises right out of the floor, then race to the churchyard wall.

Press Start, then stitch when the needle is over the gold mark.

KeyboardSpace / Enter / ↑ Stitch / JumpP / Esc Pause

Tap the game to stitch when the needle is in the gold box. When Timothy runs, tap to jump.

How to play

Keep sewing, then run!

  1. Sew in time. A needle sweeps to and fro along the seam. Press Space, or tap the game, when it is inside the gold box. Right on the mark is a neat stitch, worth more.
  2. Don’t snag. A press outside the box snags the thread, loses a moment and makes the Buggane rise faster.
  3. Twenty stitches. Finish them before the Buggane is right out of the floor. The more of it still under the floor, the bigger your bonus.
  4. Run for it! Timothy leaps out of the window and races along the road. Press Space or tap to jump the stones, tussocks and gorse. Each trip lets the Buggane catch up.
  5. Over the wall. Reach Marown churchyard and you are safe: the Buggane can’t follow you there.

P or Escape pauses, and so does switching tab or scrolling away. Best scores stay on this device only, kept separately for each difficulty. Free to play: no account and no adverts.
