Swimming & water awareness
For swimming or snorkelling, assess the weather, tide and your entry and exit points on the day. Stay clear of boats and launch areas. A sheltered-looking bay is not a safety guarantee.
Bathing water: Excellent (published classification). Samples describe past conditions, not today’s.
Sea-safety advice →This is a place guide, not an assessment of today’s safety or lifeguard cover. Read local signs, check the forecast and tide, and seek local advice before swimming, snorkelling or heading onto coastal paths.
