The Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture (DEFA) has added two more training sessions for food and drink businesses after earlier courses were fully booked, according to 3FM.
The extra sessions will take place on Tuesday 3 November and on 24 November, the radio station reported. DEFA said high demand was behind the additional dates.
The training is linked to a new food hygiene scheme the government is introducing. Under the scheme, results will be published online from next year, 3FM said.
The sessions are designed to give cafés, restaurants, pubs and other outlets a clearer picture of how the scheme will work before it starts.
Venues, times and booking details for the new sessions were not reported. Businesses hoping to attend should contact DEFA directly to confirm dates and arrangements.
