Toby Melvin won every junior pitbike race of the 2026 Jurby MRSports championship, completing a 24-race clean sweep at the final round at the JCK Kart Track, Isle of Man Today reported.

No rival seriously threatened him. His nearest challenge came in the opening heat, when Layton Murphy crossed the line six seconds adrift. Melvin, who broke the junior lap record at the previous meeting, moves up to the senior classes next season.

In the plop class, Phil Gunnell was confirmed as 2026 champion. However, he broke his collarbone in heat two after he and Simon Bottomley went down at Museum Corner on the second lap, according to Isle of Man Today. Returning 2024 champion Tom Dawson won that heat.

Bottomley then took his first win in the final. That lifted him to second place in the championship. Scottish rider Kelly Anderson set her fastest lap and finished on the podium.

The 140cc title was the only one still undecided going into the round. Connor Percival secured it in his first year in the class, beating Jack Haybyrne by 35 points. Jack Meechan won all three 140cc races, taking his season total to 15. He had missed two rounds and was not in contention for the title.

In the open pitbike class, Patrick Venus won all three races. That secured him second in the championship behind Freddie Craine, who was absent.

The season ends with the six-hour Plop Endurance event for teams of up to four riders. Isle of Man Today said it was due to start at 10:00 on Saturday, with free admission.
