The Isle of Man Government is looking for three lay members to join the Appointments Commission, which appoints people to tribunals and public bodies, 3FM reported on Saturday 17 October.
The government said the commission helps make sure the island’s justice system is fair and transparent.
According to 3FM, the government’s website states that applicants will need sound judgement, independence of thought and a commitment to public service.
3FM’s report did not give a closing date for applications, say how long the appointments would last or say whether the roles are paid. Nor did it set out what the government means by a lay member in this context.
Further information about the vacancies, including how to apply, is available on the government’s website, the station said.
