Richmond Hill, on the New Castletown Road, will be closed on four evenings at the end of the month for drainage and maintenance work, 3FM has reported.

The closures will run from Monday 26 October to Thursday 29 October. According to 3FM, the road is due to shut at 18:30 each evening and reopen no later than 22:30.

Traffic will be diverted along the Old Castletown Road while the work is under way.

The New Castletown Road is one of the main routes between Douglas and the south of the island. The closures are limited to the evenings, so the road will be open as usual during the day.
