Part of Tromode Road in Braddan is to close this evening, Thursday 15 October, while emergency work is carried out to remove a tree from the River Glass, 3FM has reported.
According to the Department of Infrastructure, the tree has to be taken out of the river, and a section of Tromode Road must be closed so the job can be done.
The closure is set to begin at 18:00, and the road is due to reopen by 22:00 at the latest, 3FM said.
The report did not say which part of Tromode Road would be affected, nor did it mention a diversion route. Drivers who use the road in the evening may want to allow for the closure between those times.
