Marriott Isle of Man Limited has surrendered its financial services licence, the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority (FSA) has announced.

In a notice published on 23 October, the FSA said the company had been licensed under Section 7 of the Financial Services Act 2008, and that the surrender took effect from 16 October.

The FSA is the island’s regulator for financial services.

The notice does not say why the licence was surrendered, what kind of regulated activity it covered, or whether the company plans to continue in business in another form. It makes no reference to any regulatory action against the firm.
