Tynwald’s Auditor General, Stephen Warren, will publish the first report from his review of how government handles fees and charges in November, according to 3FM.

Mr Warren is due to brief members on the work of his office when Tynwald sits on Tuesday 20 October. 3FM reported that the sitting will be the first Tynwald of the new government.

The review covers charges made by government bodies, and the Department of Health and Social Care and Manx Care are among those named. Mr Warren said the work had begun and was being done in stages, the station reported.

The November report will be the first to come out of the review. 3FM did not report which bodies or charges it will cover, or when later stages are expected to finish.

The Auditor General reports to Tynwald on how public bodies use and account for public money.
