The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company has moved this morning’s Heysham sailing and its afternoon return to earlier times, with all other crossings today cancelled, according to Manx Radio.

The broadcaster said eight Steam Packet sailings have been called off as Storm Boelo brings poor weather to the island over the weekend.

The company confirmed the revised times for the two crossings still running today, Manx Radio reported.

Revised Heysham sailings today (Saturday 24 October)

  • Douglas to Heysham departs at 07:30, earlier than scheduled, with check-in by 06:45
  • Heysham to Douglas, originally due at 13:45, now departs at 12:30, with check-in by 11:45

According to Manx Radio, every other sailing this weekend has been cancelled. The exceptions are the 19:30 crossing to Heysham on Sunday evening and its overnight return to the island.

Passengers booked to travel this weekend should check with the Steam Packet for the latest sailing information.
