Customers in Peel and the surrounding area may lose water or see reduced pressure late on 2 November, Manx Utilities has warned.

A Manx Utilities spokesperson told Energy FM, which reported the warning on 28 October, that the utility’s water networks team will carry out work at the Ballacallin Service Reservoir. The work is due to start at 23:00 on 2 November and last four hours, running into the early hours of 3 November.

The spokesperson said customers in Peel and the surrounding area “may experience no water or low pressure and discolouration” during that time.

The spokesperson added: “We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.”

The statement, as reported, did not say which streets or properties are most likely to be affected.
