Patrick Commissioners have settled on seven issues to include in a new mission statement for the parish, 3FM has reported.
The commissioners, the local authority for Patrick, discussed what the document should contain at their last meeting. The idea of a mission statement was first raised in July, according to the station.
Members want the statement to cover:
- lowering waste costs
- increasing recycling
- scraping verges
- repairing pavements
- spraying weeds
- the community
- green spaces
The aims will now be drawn together into a single-page statement, which will then be put to a vote of the board, 3FM said.
The station did not report when that vote is expected to take place.
