Braddan Commissioners to weigh three bids to lease Union Mills hall for TT

The local authority will consider proposals for using the Main Road community hall during next year's race festival at a meeting this afternoon.

Braddan Commissioners are due to consider three tenders to lease the community hall in Union Mills during next year’s TT when the board meets this afternoon (15 October), according to 3FM.

The meeting begins at 14:00, and proposals for using the building during the 2027 race festival are on the agenda, 3FM reported.

The commissioners, the parish’s local authority, sought expressions of interest in July from anyone wishing to use the hall on Main Road. Three tenders were received, the station said.

No details have been published about who submitted the bids or how they propose to use the building.

The board’s decision on which proposal, if any, to accept has not yet been announced.
