A Guernsey-based market research company is surveying Isle of Man residents about their day-to-day finances, 3FM reported on 20 October.

Island Global Research is carrying out the work to compare people’s experiences of the cost of living across the Crown Dependencies, according to the station.

3FM said the company will run the same survey among residents of the Channel Islands, and will also poll people in Gibraltar.

The station has published further details of the survey, along with a link for islanders who want to take part. Its report did not give a closing date for responses or say when the results are expected to be published.

Island Global Research has not said publicly how the findings will be used.
