Age Concern Isle of Man is organising an event at The Empress Hotel on Wednesday 4 November that will bring together services supporting older people on the island, according to 3FM.
The event runs from 10:00 to 16:00. Government departments, public services, charities and local organisations are due to take part.
Visitors will be able to meet representatives and put questions to them. 3FM reported that the services on offer cover health, wellbeing, finances and practical support.
According to 3FM, the organisers want the day to give older people greater confidence in seeking out the support that exists locally.
The event is free to drop in to during opening hours, and more information has been published alongside 3FM’s report.
