Charities and community groups on the island have until Saturday 31 October to submit applications to the Manx Telecom Marg McGee Community Awards, according to Manx Radio.
The scheme began in 2008 under the name It’s Our Community Awards, and this is its 19th year. Once this year’s awards are counted, the programme’s total investment will stand at £240,000, Manx Radio reported.
The fund has been expanded this year with two new strands, and judging for both will take place in November.
The first, the Marg McGee Community Partnerships, will give £10,000 apiece to two registered charities. Each charity will then spend 2027 working alongside Manx Telecom as a strategic partner.
The second is a Small Grants Programme. It accepts applications at any point in the year and holds two judging rounds annually, one in November and one in May.
