Claire and Scott Pearse, the couple behind Element Isle and Sacred Clan at Tynwald Mills, are North West finalists for Family Business Entrepreneur of the Year in the 2026 Allica Bank Great British Entrepreneur Awards, Energy FM reported on 27 October.
The news coincides with Element Isle’s tenth year of trading. Energy FM said the company started out as Claire Pearse’s own jewellery business. It now designs, makes and sells its work as a family concern, and the two brands occupy neighbouring shops at the St John’s site.
According to the station, the Pearses said the shortlisting meant a great deal to them because their son now works in the business too.
Element Isle’s jewellery draws on the island’s scenery and heritage, Energy FM reported. Among its pieces are the Platinum Jubilee brooch given to the late Queen Elizabeth II and the silver falcons that formed part of the island’s coronation gift to King Charles III.
Energy FM said the awards receive more than 5,000 entries a year. The winners will be named at a gala ceremony in London on 16 November.
