Port Erin Commissioners are looking for a business to take on the lease of a wooden kiosk on Shore Road, with applications closing at midday on Monday 19 October.

The commissioners, the village’s local authority, are offering the beachfront unit to food, water or seaside-related businesses, according to 3FM.

Applications should be sent by email to [email protected] before the deadline.

3FM’s report did not give details of the rent, the length of the lease or when a new tenant would be expected to start trading. Those terms are a matter for the commissioners, who are the point of contact for anyone interested.

The kiosk is not the only seafront venture under discussion in the village. 3FM has separately reported that plans for a permanent beach sauna in Port Erin have been submitted and are awaiting a planning decision.
