Douglas paradarts player Callum Brew won the Hungarian Classic in Budapest over the weekend of 24 and 25 October, according to Energy FM.

He also reached the final of a second competition in the city that weekend, the Hungarian Masters Darts Tournament, where he finished runner-up.

The results came in the Hungarian capital where Brew claimed the Paradarts World Championship last year, Energy FM reported.

Brew thanked his supporters and said he had been surprised by how well he played. “I wasn’t playing particularly well coming into this week, but all the hard work has now paid off,” he said.

He said reaching back-to-back finals had given him “a lot of confidence” heading into the World Cup, adding: “I’ve just had the best week here.”

His next event is the World ParaDarts World Cup in Oostende, Belgium, later in November, according to Energy FM.
