Team Atla were crowned Division 4 champions at the ARC Jersey Squash Festival, beating the hosts 5-1 in the final, Manx Radio Sport has reported.
Two island squads made the trip for the festival, which ran from 8 to 11 October. Team Atla played in Division 4, while a second Manx side contested Division 5.
According to Manx Radio, Team Atla came through the group stage with one win and one defeat before overcoming GB Vets in the semi-final to reach the title match.
The Division 5 side did not make it beyond the group phase. Isle of Man Squash said the tournament had nonetheless “provided valuable competitive opportunities for the whole squad, particularly the newcomers”, who were tested against unfamiliar opponents in a strong field.
The Jersey festival has long been a fixture on the Manx squash calendar and will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2027.
