An island-based designer is set to appear in three issues of British Vogue after being invited to join the magazine’s fashion and accessories campaign, 3FM has reported.

Geraldine Sowrey is the founder of Nest Studio, which makes bags, clothing and seasonal decorations here on the island.

According to 3FM, Ms Sowrey first suspected the email from the magazine was a scam. The approach led to a photoshoot organised at short notice, and she told 3FM it had become a memorable occasion for the whole Nest Studio team.

The station did not say which issues of the magazine will carry the campaign.

3FM reported that Nest Studio will be at Noa’s Market Hall on Sunday 25 October from 09:00.
