Oastan, the training restaurant at University College Isle of Man (UCM), will open bookings for this year’s Christmas lunches on 22 October, Manx Radio has reported.

Tables go on sale that morning at the restaurant’s annual Christmas Bookings Coffee Morning, which runs from 08:30 to 10:30.

According to Manx Radio, the lunches have become a seasonal favourite with diners. The station described them as a chance to back UCM students while they gain experience in a working, professional restaurant.

Manx Radio said the dates of this year’s lunches have been made available, although it did not list them in its report. Anyone hoping for a table may want to check the dates ahead of the coffee morning, when sales begin.
