Steam Packet lists two Manannan sailings on Larne route as at risk

The 06:45 Douglas to Larne and 10:45 Larne to Douglas crossings are marked at risk, with no reason given on the operator's sailing status page.

Two Steam Packet sailings between Douglas and Larne are at risk of disruption, according to the company’s sailing status page, updated on 13 October.

Both crossings are operated by the Manannan. The affected sailings are:

  • 06:45 Douglas to Larne: at risk
  • 10:45 Larne to Douglas: at risk

Times are given in island time. The status page does not give a reason for the at-risk listing, and no other sailings are shown as cancelled, delayed or amended.

The two crossings are listed as at risk rather than cancelled, meaning disruption is possible but the sailings have not been called off.

The company has also posted a separate notice on its sailing status page headed “Manxman Dry dock Extension update”. Passengers booked on the Manxman should read the full notice on the Steam Packet website.

Anyone booked on either Larne crossing should check the latest position with the Steam Packet before setting off for the terminal. Updates are published on the company’s sailing status page.
