Cat owners across the island can have their pets neutered free of charge under a new scheme run by the charity Pets Aid League Isle of Man.
According to 3FM, the charity says it will pay for cats to be spayed, with the aim of cutting the number of unwanted litters born on the island.
3FM reported the scheme on Tuesday 13 October, saying it was launching this week. Applications open on Thursday 15 October.
Details such as how many cats will be funded, which veterinary practices will carry out the operations, whether any eligibility criteria apply and how long the scheme will run have not been published.
Owners who want to find out more, including how to apply, are asked to contact Pets Aid League Isle of Man by email.
