Jed Etchells, Jamie McCanney and Jack Keenan will represent Great Britain at the FIM 6Days Enduro of Nations, which runs from 12 to 17 October in Grandola, Portugal, Energy FM reported.
Etchells was selected after winning the 2026 British Enduro Championship, his second title, by three points from Jack Edmondson. McCanney, a former world champion, had initially missed out but was called up late after Steve Holcombe withdrew with a wrist injury.
The pair were half of the British side that won the World Trophy in 2022, the country’s first victory at the event in 69 years. They are joined this time by Brad Freeman and Nathan Watson as the team aims to regain the title.
McCanney has contested the event six times before, while Etchells will be making his fourth appearance. Keenan, 20, will ride in the Junior Trophy class for emerging riders on his debut, having most recently won Ramsey MCC’s Circuit of Mann late last month, according to Energy FM.
Riders from 30 nations will tackle a 1,500km route with five days of special stages, before a motocross-style mass-start finale on the sixth day.
